The emptiness of family loss

Bruno Catalano "Le Grand van Gogh"

Bruno Catalano's 10 sculptures titled “Les Voyageurs” (The Travelers) are on the waterfront in Marseilles, France.

Created 2013, they depict the sense of emptiness and loss experienced by those who travelled and left behind or otherwise lost their families.

Their only support being the bag out of which they lived.

Many Dads in Distress (and some Mums in Distress) will know this feeling and will no doubt relate.

Bruno has made many such sculptures which are now featured across many countries, mostly in Europe.
